Discover a different side of Walton-on-Thames on this scenic riverside walk.
Along the way, you’ll visit the birthplace of the British film industry, uncover links to New Zealand soldiers, Hollywood actors and even Julius Caesar.
There are several cafés, pubs and riverside refreshment stops along the way, making this an enjoyable walk to take at a relaxed pace.
Start the River Route
Start at the Heart Shopping Centre on Hepworth Way.
Proceed past the Library along Hepworth Way.

3 - Aston Martin Garage
4 - Mount Felix Clock Tower
Take footpath across viaduct, past blue plaque by WoTTA naming Anzac Way, Take path before bridge down to river.
5 - Cowey Sale
Follow Thames Path under Walton Bridge.
6 - Walton Bridge
Follow Thames Path past Walton Marina.
7 - River Thames
8 - Walton Wharf
Continue along Thames Path, past Anglers pub. After 400 yards, turn right through gate into Riverhouse Park. Exit park to right.
