Families can also book a fitting appointment, making it easier to choose a convenient time during the busy final weeks of the school holidays. Appointments are not essential, but they can help take some of the stress out of the school-shoe shop.

Clarks is also running a separate buy two and get a third pair half-price offer. When purchasing two pairs of full-price children’s shoes or trainers, customers can receive 50% off the lowest-priced eligible pair of children’s footwear or accessories. This offer is valid until 6 September 2026.

Whether your child is starting Reception, preparing for the 11+ or moving into their secondary-school years, a little extra support at home can help them begin the term with confidence.

Waterstones Walton-on-Thames, in The Heart, is offering buy one, get one half-price on study guides.

The in-store offer covers pre-school, primary, 11+ and secondary study guides, although textbooks are excluded. It runs until 9 September 2026. Waterstones is also offering 25% off study guides purchased through its website.

Try a Free Session at Explore Learning

For families considering some extra academic support during the new school year, Explore Learning Walton-on-Thames offers personalised maths and English tuition for children and young people.

The centre is currently inviting prospective members to book a free trial session. This gives families an opportunity to meet the team, experience the learning environment and discuss how an individual programme could support their child before deciding whether to join.

Advance booking is required and trial sessions are subject to availability.
