May is here, and it kicks off in style with the Duckathon on Bank Holiday Monday from 2pm. Grab a community duck for just £2 — all in support of the 1st Walton Viking Sea Scouts — and don’t forget to vote for your favourite in the Best Dressed Corporate Duck Race on our website by 9th May.

On the 10th, the Bowling Club Open Day is a great chance to give something new a try and get involved locally.

For something a little different, join the Mamma Mia Sip & Paint at Crafty Pots on the 23rd.

And for families, the Love Walton Kids Club returns on Thursday the 28th with more activities for little ones to enjoy, including musical theatre workshops with Dramacube and the Free ‘Story and Craft’ with The Buttonhole Press.

A huge congratulations to Walton & Hersham FC for winning the Southern League Premier South and securing promotion to the National League South — an incredible achievement for the club.

We are delighted to announce that Two Independent Businesses within the Love Walton zone have been announced as finalists in the 2026 Muddy Stilettoes Awards! Please do give them your support by voting online by 1pm Tuesday 26th. What a great achievement as both businesses are less than 2 years old!

Looking ahead, the Elmbridge Literary Festival returns at the end of the month, with events taking place across The Playhouse and Riverhouse Barn — check their websites for full details.
