Walton Fayre – 12 July – Gallery

Thank you Walton!

What an amazing, hot, day we had on Saturday 12th July for our inaugural ‘Walton Fayre’, on The High Street.

So many local businesses, town centre businesses, charities and community groups were represented!

We had three fabulous live music Acts from local residents – Jafuso Blue Unplugged, Enchanted Events by Kiera Pursey and Risk Assessment Hersham. Throughout the day, the one and only Andy Robertson, Community Engagement Officer of Rentstart (aka Andy Plays Records) was sublime, bringing the vinyl tunes right for the time, the day, the crowd! Thank you all for giving your time free of charge for our town to enjoy!

On the day, we were crazy busy and did share a lot of live videos and stories on our social media @welovewalton, but we are grateful to others sharing photo’s with us and also local resident Jack Elford – who originally came to support Walton & Hersham FC and their stall, but he willing put on a high vis tabard and did an extra couple of hours capturing some of the event for us. So pleased to have given this young person the opportunity to experience a town event and then processing the photos for us to share with you here in our gallery:
